Mechanical noises in the morning made sleep difficult, especially in one of the rooms. Some soundproofing issues contributed to disturbances from outside, like the clanking from the nearby restaurant's kitchen. The quality of the mattress could improve for a more restful night.

Charming decor with warm hospitality
I woke up to the delightful aroma of freshly baked pastries each morning. The hand-painted frescoes in my room added character, and the location was a perfect base for exploring Lucca.
Though the furniture was slightly worn and the decor could use a refresh, it didn't overshadow the warmth from the accommodating staff who made sure I felt at home.
